1- Al Qudra Lake, Dubai

Al Qudra Lake is a man-made lake in the middle of the Saih Al Salam Desert in Dubai, UAE. The Lake, spread over 10 hectares, is home to more than one hundred species of birds including many migratory birds. Nearby Swan Lake is the home of many released exotic bird species.

How to reach Al Qudra lake?

The easiest access seem to be to take the road passing Arabian Ranches and Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. From the Polo Club it is 28 km to the Saih al Salam–Qudra lake. There is Al Qudra cycle track and Al Qudra desert camping area in the way towards the lake.

  • Coming from Sharjah towards Jebel Ali, take Emirates road (E611)

  • Go straight until you see Exit 35 ( If you are coming from Abu Dhabi/Jebel Ali, take Exit 35 in Emirates Road)

  • Take Exit 35 & take a U-Turn. Then you will reach other side of the Emirates road (ie towards Sharjah Direction)

  • Go straight. In approximate 200 meters you will see Al Qudra Exit 35

  • Follow that exit and go straight for approximately 20 Kilometers till you see a roundabout with horse statue in middle of round about. (From the beginning of Al Qudra Exit 35 this is 3rd roundabout)

  • Once you reach this round about there is no more tar road. You have to go straight through the “Mud Road” / “Kacha Road”.

  • Take left from the “Trek Bicycle Store” through the “Mud Road” / “Kacha Road”. In 200 meters you will reach the first lake.

2 - Jebel Jais

Jabal Jais, Jabal al-Jays or Jabal Bil Ays is a mountain on the border between Oman and United Arab Emirates, with an elevation of 1,911 m (6,268 feet).[1] The highest point of this mount is located on the Omani side, but a secondary hill (in the same mountain) west of this peak is considered the highest point of the United Arab Emirates, at 1,892 m (6,207 feet) above sea level

Ras Al Khaimah offers several camping venues along the coastline, in the mountains and nestled in wadi beds. Once settled in, you can fire up a barbecue, unwind from the stresses of city life and stare at the night sky. If you are planning to visit here, it is highly recommended for a stay over and please do not forget to bring the below things:

Sweaters and shawls (If during winter, it gets cold)

Wood, Lighter fluid (all necessary things for a campfire)

Grill Skewers and Food and snacks (all necessary things for a BBQ)

Portable Loud Speakers Cameras

And most importantly Lights (Torches or any lights as it is pitch dark and there are absolutely no lights there)

3 - Khor Fakkan - Fujairah

Khor Fakkan is a town on the Gulf of Oman, in the United Arab Emirates. It centers on Khor Fakkan Bay, home to the curved Khor Fakkan Beach and a deep-sea port. A promenade runs along the beachfront, against the backdrop of the dramatic Hajar Mountains. Archaeological sites include ancient graves and a ruined Portuguese fort. West of town is Wadi Wurayah, a biodiverse mountain area with waterfalls and natural pools.

A trip to Khor Fakkan beach is ideal for a short weekend break from Dubai. Located at about an hour’s drive from Dubai, Khor Fakkan is nice and clean beach to relax and to indulge in various water sports. The USP of this place is its weather which averages between 18°C to 30°C in the months of November to April. Do not miss out on checking out the Rifaisa Dam, in the mountains of Khor Fakkan.


4- Al Mamzar Beach

This is a lovely beach and a lovely place to hangout with your friends. Prepare a delicious BBQ and serve yourself and your friends and if u feel hot while preparing it , beautiful beach is near by . It costs you Dhs 5 to enter the beach park. Has a restaurant toilet facilities, bar for drinks and a beach shop in case you have forgotten anything.

  • Swimming pools services: swimming pool for adult: AED 10 and for children: AED 5.

  • Beach sport fields services (Basketball, football & volleyball fields).

  • Beach services.

  • Services of renting bicycles (Through an investor which fees differ according to the bicycle type).

  • Excursion and barbeque services.

  • Restaurants and cafeterias.

  • Train ride service (AED 2 per person).

  • Public facilities services (Toilettes and clothes change cabins).

  • Plants and horticulture spaces.

  • Facilities for people with special needs: (The Park provides a lot of the facilities and services for people with special needs, and that this Park was designed especially for providing service to this category of the community after taking into consideration that all services, installations and utilities are providing them with special facilities. Besides, special parking lots were allocated for people with special needs close to the parks entry gates, and for facilitating their smooth movement on passages. In addition, special toilettes were designed for the people with special needs as well.

  • Providing free car parking of visitors : 618 parking outside the park , 620 parking inside the park and 10 disabled parking
